After two long years, in-person WordCamps are back! WordCamp US 2022 took place from September 9-11. It turned out to be a success, with many leading WordPress contributors showing up and sharing their experiences and tips with the WP community. For those who managed to attend this event, we’re pretty sure you’ve made memories that are staying for life. What is WordCamp US 2022?

WordCamp is an event for those interested in everything about WordPress. Innovators and creators from all industries are welcomed to this event to share their experiences and ideas, making WordPress’s open-source software a better platform for all to utilize.
Regardless of whether you are a newbie setting up your first site, or a professional coder developing a new plugin, WordCamp is the best event to be at to discover and learn about new opportunities through:

- Networking opportunities with other experts
Besides that, this event is loaded with lots of fun stuff, including free giveaways, amazing prizes, and after-hour parties for those who attend the event.
WordCamp US 2022 In San Diego
The 2022 event took place in San Diego, California. Apart from participating in the event, I’m pretty sure people enjoyed the warm weather at one of the local beaches and tasted some of the best Mexican food in the country.

“Patterns are the primary way [of] interacting with the editor. They’re the ultimate shortcut. In addition, styles and variations are the most interesting part of a block theme to make it your own.”

Felix Arntz
Felix Arntz discussed a common problem many WordPress developers face. His opening statement was,

Day 3 (Contributor Day)
The third and final day of WCUS 2022, the Contributor Day, went as planned, with hundreds showing up dedicated to sharing their thoughts and experimenting with improving the WordPress open-source project. People of all skill sets spent time together to learn and work in areas like hosting, accessibility, design, and more.
